The Edmonton Social Planning Council is an independent, non-profit, non-partisan social research organization, with registered charitable status. Our focus is on social research within the vulnerable sectors of the community. We are dedicated to encouraging the adoption of equitable social policy, supporting the work of other organizations who are striving to improve the lives of people in our community, and educating the public regarding the social issues that impact them daily.

Edmonton Social Planning Council Endowment Fund
The fund supports the research and analysis work of the Edmonton Social Planning Council. Using a community engagement approach ESPC endeavors to deepen the understanding of social planning issues, influence policy and spark collaborative actions that lead to positive social change.
Edmonton Social Planning Council Direct Donations
One-time or monthly donations to the Edmonton Social Planning Council can be provided through Canada Helps or the Pay Pal Giving Fund. These donations go directly to the Edmonton Social Planning Council and are instrumental to the ongoing operations of the organization.
*PLEASE NOTE: Donations will be processed in Canadian dollars. Please ensure you provide an accurate address and contact information. In accordance with Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), receipt/s will only be issued to an original donor to name and address provided.
Canada Helps
All donations are tax-deductible, a tax receipt will be issued through Canada Helps who manage the ESPC donations. (CRA BN: 107283194 RR 0001 click for more information) Please note that official tax receipts require the full name of the donor and address. The ESPC does not handle any of the transactions, your financial information is collected securely by Canada Helps and the ESPC has no access to this information.
PayPal Giving Fund
You can also gift a tax-deductible donation through the PayPal Giving Fund. PayPal covers all fees so 100% of your donation is forwarded to the Edmonton Social Planning Council. PayPal will issue any tax receipts to you directly.
The ESPC does not handle any of the transaction, PayPal securely handles all transactions and personal information.
