Writing opportunities
Community Matters is our quarterly publication that gives volunteers, staff, and community members alike the opportunity to write about a social issue. Articles are expected to be approximately 700-1200 words in length and topics are sent out in the volunteer newsletter. Read previous editions here.
Research Reviews
Research reviews are a short summary and analysis of a social policy report or research study. These are expected to be approximately 700 words in length. Research reviews are published either as part of Community Matters or online on the website. Read previous editions here.
Blog posts
Blog posts provide writers with the opportunity to write about a pressing social issue or day of recognition. Blog posts are shared online and are expected to be around 500-800 words in length. Read previous blog posts here.
Photography and/or Videography
Photographers and videographers assist in ESPC’s communications and media needs. Opportunities arise as needed.
Casino
Casino volunteers contribute to various roles in this biannual 2-day event, including handling funds, among other responsibilities. Opportunities arise as needed.
Board members support the strategic, policy, and financial needs of the ESPC. Opportunities are based on a successful application. Learn about the Board of Directors here.
