ESPC in the news: Susan Morrissey talks about why we must prioritize housing in the municipal election

On October 5, 2021, our Executive Director, Susan Morrissey, appeared on CBC with Jordan Reiniger, the executive director at Boyle Street Community Services to discuss why tackling the issue of homelessness should be prioritized during the municipal election.
“There are many people who are losing their housing now because they are losing their jobs […] And people who are on the waitlist for housing and people living in housing they can’t afford, or people who have lost their jobs – they’re that much closer to ending up homeless.”
